Established in 1970, Pacific Rim National Park Reserve spans 511 square kilometers and consists of three parts: Long Beach, the Broken Group Islands, and the West Coast Trail. The park features narrow inlets and lush temperate rainforests. Long Beach is the most popular area in the park, and its most distinctive feature is the beach itself — endless stretches of white sand and spectacular rainforest create a stunning landscape, where white sands, blue skies, and azure waters complement each other beautifully.

The Broken Group Islands consist of hundreds of small islets scattered across the water, hence their name. These islands are only accessible by boat, with inflatable kayaks being the most popular option. There is no fresh water on the islands, so visitors must bring their own. The West Coast Trail is a 75-kilometer coastal hiking path originally used to rescue shipwrecked sailors. Today, it serves as a multi-day trekking route, taking hikers through rugged shorelines and dense rainforests over a 5 to 7-day journey.
