Currently, there are only two Cadbury Chocolate Worlds in the world—one is located in Birmingham, UK, and the other is situated within the Cadbury factory in Dunedin, Otago Region, New Zealand. Visiting either is an exciting and fascinating journey that increases your knowledge about chocolate.

The Cadbury Chocolate World in Dunedin opened to the public in 2003 and has since become one of the city’s most popular attractions. There are three different tour options at the Chocolate World: the Factory Tour, the Centre Tour, and the Express Tour. The Factory Tour is only available on weekends, lasts approximately 75 minutes, and takes you through the chocolate-making process, the machinery used, and the history of Cadbury. Additionally, you can marvel at the world’s largest chocolate waterfall. The Centre Tour is a self-guided experience in the visitor center where you can learn about the history of chocolate and see a variety of chocolates in different flavors and shapes. The Express Tour is available on weekends, public holidays, and when the factory is not in full operation. It lasts 45 minutes and includes a small bag of assorted flavored chocolates as a gift.

From December 1 to 24 each year, the Cadbury Chocolate World opens the Santa’s Cave, where visitors can see handcrafted Christmas-themed chocolate toys, and also receive a sample pack of chocolates to taste.
