Mount Wellington is located to the west of Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, about 22 kilometers from Hobart. Standing at 1,271 meters high, it is perennially covered in snow and sometimes only in summer can shaded vegetation be seen on its slopes.

Mount Wellington is an all-season attraction. In spring, it is painted with colorful wildflowers; in summer, its lush trees and vast greenery transform it into a sea of green; in autumn, golden leaves cover the mountain; and in winter, thick snow blankets the peak, creating a silver-white wonderland that attracts visitors from around the globe.

There are specially built walking trails at the foot of the mountain, and it takes about two hours to hike to the summit, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Tasmania. If you're lucky, you may spot wildlife roaming the mountainside as if welcoming your visit. Along the way, you might also admire cascading waterfalls and babbling brooks, with birds occasionally providing a natural soundtrack to the beauty of the landscape.

Mount Wellington is the perfect destination for hiking and exploration in spring, summer, and autumn. In winter, its snowy peaks become an ideal spot for skiing and snow viewing.
