Tahune Airwalk
The Tahune Airwalk is located in the Huon Valley of Tasmania, Australia, south of the state capital Hobart and 70 kilometers from Hobart. As one of Tasmania’s most unique tourist destinations, it attracts visitors from around the world year-round for adventure.
Spanning 620 meters in length and suspended 45 meters above the ground, the Tahune Airwalk is one of the few forest canopy walkways in the world. It winds through the treetops of a pristine temperate rainforest, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the lush green forest below. Made of steel, the walkway gently sways with the wind, creating a thrilling sensation akin to walking on air—completely safe and exhilarating. Along the Tahune Airwalk, there is a wishing stump. Locals believe that tossing a coin onto the stump and making a wish will make it come true. Countless coins have been tossed here, so if you visit, be sure to bring some coins with you.
