Cascade Brewery is located in the southern part of Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. Established in 1824 by entrepreneurs who had emigrated from England, it is the oldest continuously operating brewery in Australia and is currently owned by the Foster's Group in Australia.

The Cascade Brewery building is uniquely designed, resembling a grand French chateau when viewed from afar, nestled within the embrace of Mount Wellington, exuding an elegant charm. The brewery produces a range of beers, house-brewed ales, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages (including apple juice, blackcurrant syrup, and carbonated drinks), all of which are highly popular with customers. The beers and drinks from Cascade Brewery are beloved by patrons because the brewery still uses sweet spring water flowing down from Mount Wellington, along with hops and barley produced in Tasmania, and employs traditional brewing methods—resulting in exceptionally flavorful beer.

The Cascade Brewery has an on-site bar that serves a variety of beer flavors. These beers are piped directly from the brewery to the bar counter through copper pipes, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing pint with the simple turn of a tap.
