Caversham Wildlife Park

Caversham Wildlife Park is located near Swan Valley in Perth, Western Australia. It is privately owned by David & Pat, who purchased the then 5-acre zoo in 1987. The zoo has since expanded many times over in size, and the animal population has grown considerably.

Currently, Caversham Wildlife Park houses over 200 species and more than 2,000 animals and birds, most of which roam freely without being confined to cages. The park has made significant contributions to the breeding and rearing of wildlife, successfully breeding species such as wombats, Tasmanian devils, koalas, grass owls, and cassowaries—an outstanding achievement for a private zoo. Here, visitors can get up close and personal with over 200 types of animals including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, possums, dingoes, emus, and kookaburras, forming unique bonds with these adorable creatures.

The park is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day except Christmas, but please note that entry is not permitted after 4:30 PM.
