Mengze Lake is located in the suburban area northwest of Perth, the capital of Western Australia, about 5 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of 71 hectares. This lake is famous for its gracefully dancing black swans and is the best spot to observe Perth’s black swans.

The lake boasts clear blue waters with gentle waves, dotted with hanging lotuses and fresh bankside flora that are simply mesmerizing. Hundreds of lively black swans can be seen swimming on the lake or wandering along the shores. Their glossy black feathers shimmer brilliantly in the sunlight, catching everyone’s eye. Some glide freely across the emerald waters, while others joyfully interact with visitors on the banks—truly a delightful scene. Visitors can relax on the lush green grass by the lake, admiring the blue sky reflecting on the water, watch the elegant black swans strut and sing as they waddle around, or even play and laugh with these adorable swans.

In addition to these cute and playful swans, Mengze Lake is also home to turtles, ducks, frogs, pelicans, monitor lizards, egrets, and mudskippers.
