Introduction Visitors can easily spend hours exploring this multi-level building. The first floor showcases traditional and contemporary art by Indigenous Australians; the second floor features works by 20th-century European painters as soon as you enter; while the third floor primarily displays artworks from Asia; most visitors spend most of their time on the fourth floor, where masterpieces by European Old Masters and outstanding paintings by Australian artists are exhibited; additionally, those interested in modern photography should head to the fifth floor. Art books can be freely explored in the museum shop. After admiring the numerous artworks, you can take a stroll or get some fresh air in the Royal Botanic Garden surrounding the museum.
