Located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, just 3 kilometers from the city's central business district, Moore Park was opened in 1869 and covers an area of 115 hectares, making it an ideal destination for Sydney residents to visit on weekends.

The purpose of establishing Moore Park was to offer citizens a place to relax freely and alleviate the pressures of daily life and work through sports. Moore Park is home to two of Sydney’s major stadiums — the Sydney Cricket Ground and the Sydney Football Stadium — and as such, the park offers a variety of sporting facilities, including playing fields, a golf course, tennis courts, cricket pitches, soccer fields, rugby fields, and baseball diamonds. In addition to sports venues, there are also cinemas, restaurants, cafes, bars, and small retail shops.

After working up a sweat, visitors can catch a movie to unwind, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee at a cafe, or savor local specialties at one of the charming eateries. Before leaving the park, you can also stop by the gift shop to pick up some Australian handicrafts as souvenirs.
