Minquan Terraces

The Minquan Terraces in Gong County are an important agricultural cultural heritage site, spread across approximately 10 kilometers within the territories of Hezuo, Minquan, and Feiyue villages in Luobiao Town, Gong County. These terraced fields, covering thousands of acres and built along the mountainsides, are filled with captivating pastoral scenery. This “hidden gem” of terraces is intricately laid out, densely arranged, stretching endlessly, and boasts a magnificent presence. Standing on the edge of the mountain ridge, you can see layers of terraces stacked like hills, ascending step by step toward the blue sky; from near to far, they resemble fish scales, undulating layer upon layer toward the horizon. The shimmering water in the terraces and the tender green swaying seedlings have left many photography enthusiasts marveling that the scene is “breathtakingly timeless.”
