The Ancient Qiang City is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Ancient Qiang City is located in Fengyi Town, Mao County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Situated between Golden Turtle Mound and Silver Turtle Mound on the western bank of the Minjiang River, it faces east, backed by Shuixi and resting at the foot of the Minjiang River, with its view set toward Jiuding Sacred Mountain and its head against the blue sky and white clouds. It stands solemn and majestic, exuding grandeur and magnificence. The Ancient Qiang City mainly comprises the Qiang Ethnic Museum of China, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Center, the Qiang Culture Square, the Qiang Kings’ Official Fortress, the Qiang Culture Themed Hotel, the Performance Center, the Sarang Square, and other landscapes, scenic spots, and unique architecture. Among them, the Qiang Ethnic Museum of China houses nearly ten thousand precious cultural relics, serving as evidence of the long and enduring history and culture of the Qiang people. It is currently the largest, highest-standard, most fully equipped, and best-facilitated core exhibition site of Qiang culture in China, and even the world.

It serves as a living exhibition and performance area for Qiang culture, as well as a destination for cultural leisure and experiential tourism, both in China and around the world.
