Introduction to Luzhou Haichao Lake The Sichuan South Haichao Lake Tourist Area is located about 20 kilometers from Luzhou City. Traveling along the Luzhou–Zigong Highway, you’ll be greeted with stunning scenery along the way. Haichao Lake covers a total area of approximately 18 square kilometers and features Luzhou’s largest hydropower station, a century-old osmanthus forest, the Mixigou tributary scenic area, and more. The Sichuan South Haichao Lake Tourist Area welcomes visitors with a grand stone-carved archway gate and inscriptions by renowned artists from ancient and modern times. Guesthouses and hotel complexes are nestled around the lakeshore. Both banks of the lake are adorned with vibrant flowers, exotic trees, lush aquatic plants, and the cheerful chirping of birds. The scenic waterside corridor winds along the lake; cliffside plank paths twist through serene seclusion; cave explorations are thrillingly enticing; and delicate arch bridges stretch across the water like rainbows.
