Tielutan Bridge

Tielutan Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

Tielutan Bridge, built during the Qing Dynasty, is a 12-pier, 13-span stone slab beam bridge oriented from northeast to southwest, spanning the Tieshi Stream. The bridge has a total length of 28.52 meters and a deck width of 1.36 meters. Five of the piers in the middle section each feature a round-carved dragon. The northwest end of each pier is topped with a dragon’s head, while the southeast end features a dragon’s tail. The dragon heads have short snouts and angled mouths, slightly open to reveal teeth and tongues. The dragon tails are either coiled vertically or laid out flat in a disc shape. The carving style is bold and simple. In June 2007, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.
