Jinggaang Bridge

Jinggaang Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

Jinggaang Bridge, built during the Qing Dynasty, is a stone flat-beam bridge with four piers and five spans, oriented from east to west and spanning a tributary of the Longxi River. The bridge is 13.28 meters long, 1.46 meters wide, and the bridge slabs are 0.39 meters thick. The deck consists of ten bridge slabs laid on H-shaped piers. The two central piers each feature a round-carved dragon: the dragons have short snouts, thick noses, bulging eyes, cloud patterns carved along their bodies, and coiled, curling tails. The dragon on the second pier from the east has its mouth open, baring teeth, while the dragon on the third pier holds a pearl in its mouth. This bridge is one of the typical representations of the Long Bridges in Luxian. In June 2007, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.
