Jiang'an Bridge

Jiang'an Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

Jiang'an Bridge, built during the Qing Dynasty, is a 6-pier, 7-span stone flat-beam bridge oriented from east to west. The bridge has a total length of 19.14 meters, a deck width of 1.3 meters, and a slab thickness of 0.4 meters. Each of the second piers on the eastern and western ends of the bridge is adorned with a round-carved dragon. Approximately 5 meters east of the bridge, beside a small path, stands a single rectangular stone stele measuring 0.87 meters in width, 2.1 meters in height, and 0.25 meters in thickness. The stele is inscribed with “Record of the Reconstruction of Jiang'an Bridge.” Most of the characters on the bridge record have been eroded and faded, but some donor names and the phrase “the sixth year of the Tongzhi reign of the Great Qing” can still be faintly made out. In June 2007, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.
