Lishi Street

Lishi Street is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

Lishi Street was once the site of an ancient post station and has been a bustling hub of merchants since ancient times. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty, it now retains two old streets: Shenquan Street and Mishi Street. The street surfaces are paved with flagstones, and there are residential buildings along both sides. Among them, Shenquan Street runs from northeast to southwest, approximately 300 meters long and 2.6 to 3 meters wide; Mishi Street runs from southeast to northwest, approximately 170 meters long and 2.4 meters wide. Lishi Street holds significant importance for the study of transportation, economy, architecture, and folk customs during the Ming and Qing dynasties. In October 2005, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of county-level cultural relic protection units by the Luzhou County People's Government.
