The stone carving at the hometown of Dong Yun is a cultural relic protection unit of Luzhou County.

The stone carving at the hometown of Dong Yun is embedded in a rock face that is 13.5 meters wide and 3.5 meters high. It faces southeast and is located 1.27 meters above the ground. It was carved in the 24th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1759). The carving itself is 2.42 meters wide and 0.53 meters high, featuring nine large characters in running regular script that read “Hometown of Dong Yun, Minister Over the Masses of Shu Han.” Each character is 0.21 meters wide and 0.28 meters high. The inscription is blurred and difficult to discern. This stone carving holds significant reference value for the study of historical figures from the Shu Han period. In February 1988, it was designated as part of the second batch of county-level cultural relic protection units by the Luzhou County People’s Government.
