Bo Dao Bridge

Bo Dao Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Sichuan Province.

Bo Dao Bridge, built during the Qing Dynasty, is a single-pier, two-span stone flat-beam bridge oriented from south to north. The bridge is 5.66 meters long and 1.06 meters wide. The pier features a round-carved dragon. The dragon’s head is raised and twists in an “S” shape, while its tail coils. The dragon’s head and tail rise 0.15 to 0.3 meters above the bridge deck. From the top of the dragon’s head to its body, there is a vertical crack about 0.05 meters wide. The carving of the dragon features smooth lines and masterful technique. The bridge is one of the typical representatives of the Dragon Bridges in Luxian County, and in June 2007, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.
