Nan Hua Gong, Longtai Town, Anyue County

In 1927, Communist Party members including Deng Yong and Wang Yongnie returned to their hometown, Longtai Town, and under the guise of running a bookstore and stationery business, they promoted revolutionary theory and progressive ideas. In the summer of 1928, seven Party members including Xu Yue and Deng Yong established the Anyue County Special Branch of the CCP. In 1933, the Longtai District Party Committee was set up in Nan Hua Gong, with Deng Yong serving as both Director of the Suining Central Organizational Headquarters of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Government and Secretary of the Longtai District Party Committee. Later, upon recommendation by Communist Party member Mei Shutang, then Head of the Longtai Militia, Deng became the Mayor of Longtai Town under the Nationalist Government. Using this public position, he actively developed Party members, establishing eight Party branches in Longtai. He also formed the Suining Central Soviet Government of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Province and the Longtai Guerrilla Brigade, taking on the roles of Government Director and guerrilla commander. The Suining Central Soviet Government organized various revolutionary struggles, including opposing excessive taxes and levies, resisting warlord bureaucrats, and fighting feudal superstition. At the end of October 1933, provincial Party commissioner Zou Fengping came to Anyue to organize an uprising, dispatching He Zizhan, a member of the southern Sichuan Party organization, back to Longtai where together with Deng Yong in Nan Hua Gong they organized the Central Route Frontline to support the famous “Tongxian Uprising.”

In 2012, the Former Site of the Suining Central Organizational Headquarters of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Government and Longtai District Party Committee was designated the eighth batch of Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.

Longtai Town: Located 27.5 kilometers east of the county seat, bordering townships (towns) including Baishui Township, Yunfeng Township, Yuexin Township, Pianyan Township, and Linfeng Town. It covers an area of 48.15 square kilometers, and administers 21 administrative villages, 214 villager groups, and 4 community committees. The total number of households is 16,441, with a permanent urban population of 38,498, and a rural population of 14,862. The town has 1,942.2 hectares of arable land, including 1,204.47 hectares of paddy fields and 737.73 hectares of dryland.
