The Former Site of the Suining-An County Committee of the Communist Party of China is a Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism destination.

In late 1933, after the failure of the "Tongxian Uprising," the underground Communist Party organization in Anyue was forced to relocate its activities to the Dongxing area (now Baitasi Township). In early 1934, Yu Ruoping convened a meeting at the home of Yao Mianguang, the Secretary of the Dongxing Party Branch, to review the experiences and lessons of the Tongxian Uprising, and decided to launch continued revolutionary struggles among the masses, centered on Dongxing Township. In February 1934, a provincial committee inspector was sent to Anyue and decided to establish the Suining-An County Committee of the Communist Party of China, with Yu Ruoping as the Secretary. The committee’s headquarters was set up in the Yao Family Courtyard.

Yao Mianguang (1908–1956), male, was from Dongxing Township, Anyue County. He joined the Communist Party in 1930 and served as Secretary of the Dongxing Party Branch, member and secretary of the Suining-An County Committee of the Communist Party of China. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, he held positions such as Deputy Commissioner of Baise Prefecture in Guangxi and Magistrate of Baise County, Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (West), and Minister of Propaganda of the Nanning Prefectural Committee of the Communist Party of China. He passed away on September 29, 1956, due to overwork. On January 3, 1957, the People's Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (West) approved him as a revolutionary martyr.

In 2012, the Former Site of the Suining-An County Committee of the Communist Party of China was designated as part of the eighth batch of Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People’s Government of Sichuan Province.
