Introduction: Jinhua Confucius Temple is located within Jinhua Town Middle School. Only the Scripture Pavilion remains, facing east and located to the west, with a construction area of 200 square meters. The plain base is enclosed by strip stones on all sides, standing 1.2 meters high. The wooden frame uses a post-and-lintel structure, topped with a double-eave hip-and-gable roof covered in gray glazed tiles. It is 14.8 meters wide (three bays) and 5.1 meters deep, with an overall height of 8 meters. An 8-step ramp leads up to the entrance. Approved by the People's Government of Shehong County, the temple was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit in 1987.

Jinhua Town: Located at the northern edge of the central Sichuan hilly region and on the central-western bank of the Fu River, Jinhua Town in Shehong County borders Santai County to the west. It covers an area of 99.7 square kilometers, with a total population of 60,462.

The terrain of Jinhua Town mainly consists of low hills, along with some flatlands. The highest elevation is 674.4 meters (Tianbao Fort in Longdongping), and the Fu River runs through the town. It enjoys a subtropical humid climate, with an average annual temperature of 20°C, annual precipitation of about 950 mm, and approximately 250 frost-free days per year.
