Jinhua Huoshen Temple

Jinhua Huoshen Temple is a protected cultural heritage site of Sichuan Province.

The temple is situated in Group 3, Jinhua Village, Jinhua Town, Shehong County, Suining City, Sichuan Province. Approximately 5 kilometers to the north lies Jinhua Mountain. Originally built in the 12th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, the structure covers around 2,200 square meters and faces south with its back to the north. The courtyard contains two ancient yellow-leaved banyan trees. Within the earthen walls of the Huoshen Hall are embedded wooden inscribed merit steles dating back to the 13th year of the Guangxu reign, some of which have become visible on the exterior. The Huoshen Hall is 22 meters wide and 10.4 meters deep, with the central bay measuring 15 meters in width, supported by a 10-rafter frame using 6 columns. The side bays are 3.8 meters wide and 5 meters deep, featuring a traditional wooden post-and-lintel frame, a gable-and-hip roof, and small blue-grey tiles.

Protective boundary: 1 meter outside the surrounding wall to the east and west, 1 meter beyond the front eaves drip line of the theater stage to the south, and 1 meter beyond the rear eaves drip line of the Huoshen Hall to the north.

Construction control zone: 2 meters beyond the protective boundary to the east, 5 meters beyond to the west, 1 meter beyond to the south, and 1 meter beyond to the north.
