The Ancient Buddha Temple in Shehong is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

Protected area: 200 meters beyond the rear eaves drip line of the Guanyin Hall to the east, 3 meters outside the temple wall to the south, 15 meters beyond the front eaves drip line of the mountain gate to the west, and 2 meters outside the temple wall to the north.

Construction control zone: bounded by the protected area, extending 100 meters east to the foot of Muyu Slope, 8 meters south, 10 meters west, and 10 meters north.
