Chenjiazhai Residential Buildings in Qingping (Wusheng County)

The Chenjiazhai Residential Buildings, located at Group 8, Chenjiazhai Village, Qingping Town, Wusheng County, were initially constructed in the mid-Qing Dynasty and expanded in the late Qing Dynasty. They span a total area of nearly 11,000 square meters, with a building area of over 2,100 square meters and include more than 100 rooms of different sizes. Provincial ancient architecture experts describe them as a well-preserved, large-scale, and typical “zouma zhuandou lou” (staircase-style enclosed courtyard building), which represents a distinctive architectural style unique to eastern Sichuan and is quite rare throughout the entire province. In July 2012, they were designated as part of the Eighth Batch of Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected Area: The boundary extends 20 meters eastward, 20 meters southward, 10 meters westward, and northward to the site of the village wall ruins.

Construction Control Zone: A buffer zone extending 30 meters beyond the protected area.
