The Huaying Mountain Celebrity Wax Museum serves as a patriotic education base.

The Huaying Mountain Celebrity Wax Museum is located in the Huaying Mountain tourist scenic area in Huaying City, Sichuan Province. Construction began in 2006, covering a total area of over 2,000 square meters with an investment of 50 million yuan. It is open from 8:00 to 18:00. It is the largest wax museum in Southwest China, the only large-scale wax museum in the region, and ranks as the third largest in China. The wax figures were collectively created by Zhang Shouxiang, a renowned Chinese wax artist and director of the Beijing Wax Museum, along with professors from the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Leaders’ Wax Museum

Features wax figures of Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, and Lu Xun.

Celebrities’ Wax Museum

Displays wax figures of historical and contemporary celebrities, sports and entertainment stars, literary and artistic figures, and scientists from around the world.

Hongyan Hall

Themed around Hongyan, it showcases wax scenes featuring figures such as Xu Yunfeng and Jiang Jie, representing the Huaying Mountain guerrilla fighters and the “Old Lady with Two Guns.”

The Huaying Mountain Celebrity Wax Museum is a world-class wax exhibition venue. The museum employs soft, colored lighting that complements the historical background of each figure, fully respecting and reflecting their historical significance, achieving a seamless integration of “wax figures, historical context, and textual introductions.”

The Huaying Mountain Wax Museum forms a cohesive and complementary entity with the nearby Huaying Mountain Guerrilla Memorial Hall and Huaying Mountain Geological Museum. Together, they create a comprehensive red tourism patriotic education destination, serving as a vivid classroom for patriotic and revolutionary tradition education for visitors, especially young people.
