Birthplace of Zhu De
The Birthplace of Zhu De is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
The Birthplace of Zhu De is located in Lijiawan at the foot of Linlang Mountain. It was a dilapidated wooden warehouse rented by the Zhu family from a landlord surnamed Ding. Covering an area of 420 square meters, on the morning of December 1, 1886 (the sixth day of the first lunar month), Zhu De was born in this narrow and small wooden shed that spanned only 16 square meters, where he lived for eight years.
In 2006, it was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the State Council.
