Yapuya Private School

Yapuya Private School is where Zhu De received his early education in 1892 and stands as a historical testament to his life, work, and studies during his youth. After the liberation, the government established “Linlang Primary School” here, which was later renamed “Yapuya Primary School.” The school’s name was inscribed by the renowned calligrapher Shu Tong. In 2006, the school relocated from this site, and the private school was restored to its original appearance. A special exhibition titled “The Teacher-Student Bond of Zhu De” is now open to the public free of charge.
