Zhu De Bronze Statue Memorial Park

Zhu De Bronze Statue Memorial Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Located at the southern end of South Street in Jincheng Town, the Zhu De Bronze Statue Memorial Park is a terraced, brick-concrete courtyard structure facing south. Built in 1991, the complex covers a construction area of 1,480 square meters.

The first level features the national name inscribed by Jiang Zemin; the second level bears the “Meritorious Arch” inscribed by Li Xiannian; the third level displays a stone tablet engraved with Zhu De’s “Recalling My Mother”; the fourth level showcases inscribed tablets with calligraphy from notable figures; the fifth level is the core of the memorial park.

A 4.2-meter-tall, 2,500-kilogram bronze statue of Marshal Zhu De stands atop a central high platform. The square base of the statue has “Marshal Zhu De” inscribed on the front by Jiang Zemin, and on the back, an inscription written by Kang Keqing and calligraphed by Zhao Puchu.

The final level is the “Zhu De Life and Achievements Exhibition Hall,” with a plaque inscribed by Yang Shangkun.

In 1994, it was designated as a cultural relics protection unit by the Nanchong Municipal People's Government.
