General's Divine Abode

General's Divine Abode is a cultural relic protection unit of Xichong County.

The Monument to the Meritorious Deeds of General Ji Xin of Han stands beneath the yellow-leaf tree at Huangjueya in Mujiao Township, west of Jincheng. It was erected in mid-autumn 1567 (the fourth year of the Wanli reign in the Ming Dynasty) by Ma Tengyun, magistrate of Xichong County. The stele is 1.68 meters high and 1 meter wide, inscribed with seven large characters reading "Hometown of General Ji Xin of Han." In September 1966, it was destroyed by Red Guards as part of the campaign against the "Four Olds." In March 1983, the original stele was restored and re-erected. The government of Xichong County designated it as a county-level cultural relic protection unit.
