Xianlin Character-Respecting Pagoda

The Xianlin Character-Respecting Pagoda is a cultural relic protection unit of Sichuan Province.

The Xianlin Character-Respecting Pagoda is located in Xichong County, Sichuan Province, built during the Qing Dynasty. It faces from southeast to northwest, covering an area of 25 square meters. The structure is an octagonal, nine-story hollow stone pagoda in a pavilion style. The base is square, with each side measuring 1.8 meters and a height of 1 meter. The main body of the pagoda is hexagonal and was originally nine stories tall, though only eight levels remain, reaching a height of 11 meters. Each level is supported by six hollow stone columns holding up the eaves. The first level has a width of 1.1 meters along each edge, and there is a square "character-burning" opening on the northwest side of the base. The spire of the pagoda was destroyed long ago.

Protected area: Extending 5 meters east, 45 meters south, 21 meters west, and 22 meters north from the hill where the pagoda stands.

Construction control zone: Extending 20 meters beyond the protected area.
