Dazhu River

Dazhu River is located in the northern part of Wanyuan City, about 50 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of 49.6 square kilometers. As the most significant first-level tributary of the Han River, the Dazhu River originates from the "Three Trees" at the foot of Dayan Mountain in Chengkou County, Chongqing. It flows through the three provinces and municipalities of Chongqing, Sichuan, and Shaanxi. Like an untamed roaring lion, it turns its back on the Yangtze River, surging fiercely all the way, gathering streams and passing through canyons and perilous rapids. With tenacious vitality, it flows westward and then northward for 800 li against the current before finally turning eastward at the Han River, forming a uniquely beautiful and striking landscape on the land of Qinchuan.
