Tomb of Ma Sanpin

Date: Qing Dynasty

The "Tomb of Ma Sanpin" is located on Mapo Slope, Group 12, Zengjia Village, Zengjia Township, Wanyuan City. It was built in the eighth year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty. The entire tomb stele and ceremonial wall feature relief carvings of figures and floral patterns, all painted in colors such as red, yellow, green, and black. The figures are diverse, vivid, and lifelike, with exquisitely neat calligraphy on the poems and inscriptions. This tomb is grand in scale, well-preserved, structurally rigorous, and showcases extremely high relief carving craftsmanship, making it of great importance for protection and research.

In 2019, the Tomb of Ma Sanpin was announced by the People's Government of Sichuan Province as part of the ninth batch of Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units.
