Xuanhan Mia'an Huaguoshan Scenic Area

The Xuanhan Mia'an Huaguoshan Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural tourism site.

The Mia'an Huaguoshan Scenic Area is located in Mia'an Township, Xuanhan County, 23 kilometers from Xuanhan County town and 21 kilometers from downtown Dazhou. Adjacent to the Yanglie Water Town Scenic Area, it serves as our city’s rural ecotourism and leisure resort destination for “spring sightseeing, summer melon tasting, autumn fruit picking, and winter snow appreciation.” The scenic area sits at an altitude of 350–890 meters, with an average annual temperature of 13.8°C and a pleasant climate. It has established a 10,000-mu crisp plum demonstration garden, a red-flesh kiwi base, a houttuynia cordata base, and the Mia'an watermelon geographical production area. Tourism infrastructure such as a self-drive campsite, rural hotels, and cycling trails have also been constructed. The people of Mia'an are known for their simple and honest folkways and rich cultural heritage. Historically, there were eight temples here, and ancient tombs, old trees, and ancient villages are scattered throughout the area. Well-preserved Qing Dynasty architecture is laid out in an orderly fashion.
