Nestled in Ciyun Village, Liqiao Town, Fushun County, Wuxiangou Natural Scenic Area boasts picturesque landscapes, pleasant scenery, and unique natural charm.

The scenic area consists of five winding, steep-walled gorges with continuous stretches covering over 15,000 acres and spanning around 15 square kilometers. Rolling mountains remain lush green all year round, dotted with fragrant wildflowers and grasses. Crystal-clear streams babble gently through the valleys. With deep gullies, pristine waters, dense forests, and perennial light mist and thin fog lingering in the air, the area offers abundant natural attractions such as Twin Lions Dancing, Monkey King Exploring the Path, Frog Jumping into the Pool, Beauty Holding a Vase, Moon Rock, Dragon Pond, and Cliffside Heaven’s Gate. All showcase wonder, serenity, beauty, and thrill, making it an ideal destination for sightseeing, leisure, and summer retreats.

Wuxiangou has mountains, forests, streams, and rugged rocks, with crisscrossing gullies — it has scenery. But it’s not yet a full-fledged tourist area because everything remains so natural, almost in a pristine state.

Wuxiangou preserves fresh, invigorating air. Though air is everywhere, smog often blankets cities these days, making highly oxygen-rich, clean air especially precious. Some people travel long distances to scenic spots where the mountains and waters may be just average — but what they truly seek is that breath of fresh air. Wuxiangou is home to a rich variety of plants. In spring, it blooms in vibrant colors; in autumn, reds and yellows dot the landscape, creating an ecological tapestry rarely seen in urban gardens. For photography enthusiasts, not visiting Wuxiangou would be a great loss. The locals here, much like their natural surroundings, are genuine, simple, warm, and generous. Interacting with them makes the world feel fresher and more natural, easing many worries. Ferns and wild fruits, common sights from childhood, can be found everywhere — just rinse them in the clear stream and pop them into your mouth. Various unnamed birds chirp melodiously by your ear, and that untamed, refreshing vitality easily stirs memories from long ago. Truly, “herein lies true meaning, yet words fail to capture it.”

Wuxiangou Natural Scenic Area is located within Liqiao Town, Fushun County, about 7 kilometers from the town government seat and 19 kilometers from the Banqiao exit of the Neijiang-Yibin Expressway.
