Mùqiáogōu Reservoir Dam is a cultural relic protection unit of Zigong City.

Mùqiáogōu Reservoir Dam is located in Group 15 of Hongyan Village and was built in 1957. The dam is surrounded by mountains on three sides, covering an area of 1,272 square meters. Constructed with strip stones, it has a semi-circular layout and spans across the mountain valley. The dam’s arc length is 159 meters, its total height is 48 meters, and its base width is 8 meters. A pedestrian walkway, 4.7 meters wide, is built on the dam crest, with guardrails installed on both sides. The entire dam is grand and imposing, representing the largest water conservancy project in the county after the founding of New China. It holds significant historical value and is now a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit.
