Liu Ben Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Zigong City.

Liu Ben Ancestral Hall is located in Chongtou Village, Banqiao Town. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty, it covered an area of over 500 square meters, but now only the main hall remains, with an area of approximately 180 square meters. Liu Ben was a native of Banqiao and a successful candidate in the imperial examinations during the Ming Dynasty. He served as an official from the Ministry of Justice to the Deputy Surveillance Commissioner of Guizhou and eventually became the Right Censor-in-Chief of the Censorate. He was known for his strict handling of judicial cases. During a major famine in Guizhou, he returned to Sichuan to raise grain for relief efforts, earning great praise from the local people. This ancestral hall was built by the people of Guizhou to commemorate his contributions. The main hall is built on a 0.45-meter-high plain platform, featuring a flush-gable roof with small blue tiles. Originally constructed with earthen and wooden materials, it was later rebuilt with brick and wood. It spans five bays with a width of 18.75 meters, a depth of 9.95 meters, and a total height of 6.2 meters. This building is one of the few remaining Ming Dynasty structures in the county, possessing significant historical value. It is currently designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit.

In 2003, the town's gross domestic product was 100 million yuan, agricultural output value was 106 million yuan, revenue of township enterprises reached 56.86 million yuan, fiscal revenue was 135,790 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2,257 yuan.
