Baohe Fort

Baohe Fort is a cultural heritage site protected by Fushun County.

Baohe Fort, located in Caiwan Village and also known as Anhe Fort, was built in the ninth year of the Xianfeng reign during the Qing Dynasty (1859) by local villagers Zhou Wufu and Lei Kaiqu with funds raised from the community. It served as a defensive stronghold against military conflicts and banditry. The fort covers an area of over 20,000 square meters, with stone walls built along the mountain. The walls stretch more than 880 meters in circumference, stand 3 to 5 meters high, and are 2 meters thick. The surrounding area features steep slopes and cliffs on all sides except the south, where a stone staircase leads to the southern gate. Today, most structures within the fort have been destroyed, but the stone gates and walls remain largely intact. It has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage site.

Yongnian Town: Yongnian Town in Fushun County is located to the west of the county seat, approximately 12 kilometers away. It enjoys convenient transportation via both waterways and roads, with the Chuan-Yun Highway and Deng-Kong Highway passing through the town. The town is also traversed by the Tuojiang River and its tributaries, the Fu River and the Zhenxi River. All villages in the town have access to roads, cable television, and telephone services. It is one of the pilot towns for small-town development in Sichuan Province.

In 2003, the total gross domestic product reached 313 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 1,792 yuan, investment attraction amounted to 1.9 million yuan, the output value of township enterprises was 212 million yuan, and 10,400 people were engaged in labor export.
