Qinghe Fort

Qinghe Fort is located in Group 1 of Longtan Village and was built in the 25th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1899). The fort covers an area of 14,700 square meters and was constructed along the mountain ridge, stretching 130 meters from north to south and 22 meters from east to west. The main southern gate of the fort remains largely intact, with a stone plaque above the gate inscribed in running script that reads “Qinghe Fort,” and the inscription “Erected on the third month, first ten-day period of the year Yihai, the 25th year of Guangxu” at the bottom. To the left inside the southern gate stands a residence known as “Xijiaoshang,” covering an area of over 500 square meters. Built in the late Qing Dynasty, it features a traditional courtyard layout, a gable-and-hip roof, earthen and wooden walls, and a post-and-lintel beam structure. The building is generally well-preserved.

Shidao Township is situated southeast of the county seat, with its seat at Shidaochang, 53 kilometers from the county seat and 37 kilometers from Luzhou. Provincial Highway S207, a second-class cement road, runs through five villages of Shidao Township, providing very convenient transportation.
