Wuxian Temple of Changtan is a cultural heritage site protected by Fushun County.

Wuxian Temple of Changtan is located on West Street in Changtan Town and was built in the 11th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1747). The original temple covered an area of 6,700 square meters and consisted of a main hall and a rear hall. The main hall had a structure of earth and wood, with a roof covered in small blue tiles, and wooden doors on both sides led to the rear hall. The side rooms of the rear hall featured sculptures depicting legendary hellish punishments such as “the Bridge of Helplessness,” “being fried in oil,” and “climbing a mountain of blades,” after which stood statues of the Five Manifestations. The existing structures include the front hall, middle hall, and rear hall. A horizontal plaque inscribed with “Qiánkūn Zhèngqì” (Heavenly and Earthly Righteousness) is embedded above the main gate, and the second purlin of the middle hall bears inked characters reading “11th Year of Qianlong.” Its historical relics are ancient and relatively well-preserved, and it has now been listed as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Changtan Town: Changtan Town is situated on the west bank of the Tuojiang River in the southeastern part of Fushun County. It is 64 kilometers from the county seat, 28 kilometers from Luzhou, 15 kilometers from the Longna Expressway, and 25 kilometers downstream to directly reach the Yangtze River. To the east, it neighbors Haichao Township of Luxian County across the river; to the south, it borders Tongtan Town and Shizhai Township of Jiangyang District in Luzhou City; to the west, it adjoins Shidao Township and Zhaohua Town; and to the north, it faces Huaidi Town across the river.
