Zhao Hua Lianghu Guild Hall

Zhao Hua Lianghu Guild Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Zigong City.

Lianghu Guild Hall is located on West Street in Zhao Hua Town and was built in the 26th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1846). Currently, only the entrance hall, side chambers on both sides, and parts of the outer walls remain. The plaque above the entrance hall bears the bold regular script characters “Lianghu Guild Hall.” The entrance hall is grand and exquisitely constructed, possessing significant historical and artistic value, and is designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit.

Zhao Hua Town: Zhao Hua Ancient Town is the hometown of Liu Guangdi, one of the “Six Gentlemen of the Hundred Days' Reform,” and is known as the “Hometown of Guangdi and a Key Town on the Tuo River.” It has a history of over 1,000 years. Zhao Hua Town’s seven streets, four alleys, Nine Palaces Temple, -tou, and nine mouths and eighteen shoals all reflect its history of being established in the Song Dynasty, flourishing in the Ming Dynasty, and prospering in the Qing Dynasty.

Zhao Hua Town is a national-level “Famous Historical and Cultural Town,” a provincial-level pilot small town, a “characteristic commercial small town” prioritized for development during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, one of the “Top Ten Famous Towns in Sichuan” at the 4th “C21 Sichuan Urban Development Summit,” and a pilot town for integrated urban-rural development at both city and county levels.
