Jian Mountain Nongtuan Scenic Area, a provincial-level nature reserve. The scenic area sits at an altitude of 400–500 meters, with forest coverage exceeding 70% and an average annual temperature of 17°C. The landscape features undulating red-hued hills, winding lakes and streams, and dense, lush forests—offering both scenic views and recreational opportunities. It has been designated as a municipal-level ecological demonstration site, a AA-rated scenic spot, and a patriotic education base in Zigong. The tourism infrastructure is relatively well-developed, with leisure resorts anchored by Songtao Villa, Haier Farmhouse, and Tingyuan Villa. A series of rustic activities are available, such as whole lamb roasts, bonfire parties, and dragon boat races. The scenic area is easily accessible, just 15 kilometers from the city center, making it a top choice for eco-tourism in Zigong.
