Baoding Mountain
Located 15 kilometers northeast of Dazu County. The eminent monk Zhao Zhifeng built a cave temple here, which took over 70 years to complete. Baoding Mountain is one of the sacred Buddhist sites, known for the saying "Pay homage to Mount Emei in the south, and to Baoding Mountain in the north."
The stone carvings of Baoding Mountain are centered around Dafo Bay, with Xiafo Bay, the Inverted Pagoda, Dragon Head Mountain, Shushi Mountain, and Huangjue Slope to the east; Gaoguanyin to the south; Guangdashan, Songlinpo, and Fozuyan to the west; and Yanwan, Longtan, and Duifangfo to the north, totaling 13 scenic spots. Among them, the carvings at Dafo Bay are the largest in scale, highest in artistic value, and best preserved.
