Longshui Dongyue Temple is a Chongqing Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

Longshui Dongyue Temple is located on Chaoyang Street in Longshui Town, Dazu District, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

In 2019, Longshui Dongyue Temple was designated as part of the third batch of Chongqing Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.

Longshui Town: Located in Dazu County, Chongqing, Longshui Town is one of China’s 58 model small towns. It covers an area of 81 square kilometers, administers 33 villages and 5 neighborhood committees, and has a total population of over 100,000. The planned urban area spans 13.4 square kilometers, with nearly 4 square kilometers already developed and a population of around 40,000. In 2000, the town achieved a combined industrial and agricultural output value of 1.854 billion yuan, tax revenue of 55.66 million yuan, fiscal revenue of 27 million yuan, an average rural per capita income of 2,940 yuan, and an average urban per capita income of 6,350 yuan.
