Jinjiaba Reservoir Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Jinjiaba Reservoir is located in Guanqing Township, 47 kilometers from Youyang County. Since its official closure and water storage on November 28, 2010, the Jinjiaba reservoir area has transformed into a beautiful lake, becoming a new tourist attraction in Youyang.

The Jinjiaba Scenic Area, centered around “mountains, lakes, gorges, and stockades,” is an ecological leisure tourism destination that integrates reservoir fishing, leisure vacations, sightseeing, and cultural experiences. The scenic area is situated in Guanqing Township and is recognized as a “national AA-level tourist attraction.” Its development and construction are closely integrated with the water features. The Jinjiaba Scenic Area includes the Jinjiaba Hydropower Station, which has a reservoir capacity of 200 million cubic meters and a water surface area of 5 square kilometers. It is the largest hydropower station in terms of installed capacity within the Ganlong River Basin and the largest peak-regulating power station in southeastern Chongqing for the Chongqing Power Grid.
