Mao Ba Qunxianju Summer Resort is located at the foot of Yuanliang Mountain, on the "watershed" between the Wu River and Yuan River systems. It lies 35 kilometers south of the national 5A-level Taohuayuan Scenic Area and borders the Dabanying Primitive Forest to the north—the largest forested area at the same latitude of the Earth’s mysterious 28°N and home to the best-preserved ecological vegetation. With an altitude of over 1,200 meters, the highest summer temperature reaches only 26°C, and the annual average temperature is 15°C.
