Former Site of the Red Third Army in Nanyaojie

The former site of the Red Third Army in Nanyaojie is a cultural relic protection unit of Chongqing Municipality.

The former site of the Red Third Army in Nanyaojie is located in Nanjie Village, Tumen Village, and Longxi Village, Nanyaojie Township, Youyang County, dating back to 1934. It includes the former sites of the Political Department of the Red Third Army, the Propaganda Team of the Red Third Army, the Red Army Hospital, the Red Army University, the Office of Comrade He Long, the inscribed text of the Ten-Point Program of the Communist Party of China, the site where Comrade He Long convened a meeting of activists, and the site where the Soviet Government of Nanyaojie Township was established. The Daba Ancestral Hall has been incorporated into this heritage site.

In 2019, the former site of the Red Third Army in Nanyaojie was announced by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government as part of the third batch of municipal cultural relic protection units.
