Chengkou County Soviet Regime Red Army Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall

The Chengkou County Soviet Regime Red Army Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall is a cultural relics protection unit of Chengkou County, a classic red tourism site, and a patriotic education base.

A municipal-level patriotic education base, county-level patriotic education base, and county-level cultural relics protection unit. Located at No. 2 Ban Yue Chi Road, Gecheng Town, Chengkou County, Chongqing, about 100 meters southeast of the county government within the Chengkou County Soviet Regime Memorial Park. The exhibition hall covers an area of 1,200 square meters and houses a collection of over 300 cultural relics, including Red Army slogans, combat weapons, office supplies, daily utensils, Red Army pharmacy equipment, portraits of figures, images of revolutionary sites and memorial buildings, and illustrations of revolutionary documents. These are displayed in sections that vividly depict the efforts of the Eastern Sichuan Guerrilla Army and the Fourth Red Army in the late 1920s and early 1930s to overthrow local tyrants, redistribute land, and establish the county Soviet regime in Chengkou. It also showcases the revolutionary history of over 3,000 Chengkou locals who joined the Red Army and guerrilla forces, more than 500 of whom participated in the Long March, with 470+ sacrificing their lives in battle or during the march. The exhibition hall is a classic red tourism destination in Chengkou County, a revolutionary old base area.
