Chongqing Hanhai Ocean Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural tourism site.

Chongqing Hanhai Ocean Park is invested by Singapore and operated under the Hanhai Ocean World Group. Located in Longzhouwan, Banan District, Chongqing, it is adjacent to Xuetangwan Station on Metro Line 3. With a total investment of 800 million yuan and covering an area of 310 acres, the park is divided into two major theme parks: the Ocean Park and the Whale & Dolphin Bay Water World. It is a high-quality, large-scale ocean-themed amusement park that integrates dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment.

Tropical Rainforest

With vines entwined and streams murmuring, stroll through the “Tropical Rainforest” to journey into the Amazon, explore mysterious species, and pursue the earth’s most pristine beauty. The Tropical Rainforest themed exhibition area displays freshwater species such as alligator gar and arapaima.

Rainforest Secret Realm

In the hidden sanctuary deep within the rainforest, nestled among rugged rocks and twisted ancient trees, plants grow freely and fish swim through, creating a vibrant natural landscape that showcases the cycling evolution of various organisms and environments—an independent and self-sustaining ecosystem.

Chinese Sturgeon Pavilion

The protection of fishery resources in the Yangtze River Basin is a long-term mission. In the Chinese sturgeon display window, rare species unique to the two rivers, such as sturgeons and Chinese high-fin banded sharks, are exhibited. Get up close to these rare creatures and learn about the conservation of aquatic wildlife in the Yangtze River Basin.

Galaxy Jellyfish Pavilion

Featuring rare large jellyfish such as the Pacific sea nettle and lion’s mane jellyfish, as well as dreamily colored purple stripe jellyfish, mysterious and elegant black sea nettle, and starry Australian spotted jellyfish resembling constellations—dozens of jellyfish species. The perfect blend of light and shadow, coupled with the graceful movements of these ocean dancers, takes you on a journey through the jellyfish galaxy.

Pandora Square

On the extraordinary planet of Pandora, home to unique life forms, not only are there spectacular floating rocks, but you can also catch a glimpse of ancient dinosaurs. There is also an educational jellyfish laboratory that systematically demonstrates the fascinating breeding process of jellyfish.

360° Panoramic Coral Reef

In the coral reef display window, colorful and gracefully swaying corals are surrounded by a variety of tiny sea creatures. Here, you can be accompanied by corals and schools of fish, immersing yourself in a wondrous and magical deep-sea world.

Poseidon’s Temple

The majesty and mystery of ancient Greek deities fill Poseidon’s Temple. The fierce and bizarre God of War—the hammerhead shark, the odd and mysterious Moon Goddess—the mola mola, and the stunningly powerful school of fish all convey a captivating charm that leaves a lasting impression.

Ocean Tunnel - Oceanarium

The Ocean Tunnel Oceanarium holds over 5,500 tons of water, where thousands of marine creatures such as manta rays, devil rays, and cow-nosed rays swim freely. A 33.7-meter-long underwater tunnel runs through the oceanarium, offering a 220-degree panoramic view of the magnificent marine world. It’s like being in a dreamy ocean, experiencing a journey through “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”!

Shark Pavilion

Under the curved viewing windows of the Shark Pavilion, several species of sharks—including sand tiger sharks, dusky sharks, and leopard sharks—swim overhead. Experience the thrilling “shark encounter” and gain an in-depth understanding of shark behavior while getting an up-close look at the rulers of the ocean.

Aegean Theater

The Aegean Theater, built around the park's largest ocean exhibition pool, features an American-made giant acrylic window with a depth perception of 30 meters, offering the sensation of being in an underwater “IMAX cinema.” The love fairy tale of mermaids and princes is performed here, along with exciting interactive activities such as “diving experiences,” “interactive feeding,” and “dancing with sharks.”
