The Juding Rare Animals Zoo is located next to the Ding’an junction on the Eastern Expressway in Hainan. Not far from Nanli Lake, it is built along both banks of the Juding River. The zoo features Hainan black bears, Sichuan black bears, Hainan sambar deer, and Northeast sika deer as its main attractions, alongside a collection of various famous birds native to Hainan and most species of butterflies.

The Juding Rare Animals Zoo serves multiple purposes including animal training, science education, sightseeing, and tourism shopping. The zoo’s specially designed bear and deer enclosure, snake park, butterfly exhibition hall, and butterfly garden allow visitors to observe black bears playing in the water and engaging in playful antics up close.
