Guanyang County Martyrs' Cemetery is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism destination.

Guanyang County Martyrs' Cemetery The Guanyang County Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is located in the city center, covering an area of 15 mu. Built in the early days of liberation, it serves as a patriotic education base in our county and is a protected county-level commemorative structure. Guanyang has a glorious history of revolutionary struggle. During the Second Revolutionary War, the War of Resistance against Japan, the War of Liberation, and the period of national founding, among other revolutionary movements, countless revolutionary martyrs sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and socialist construction, leaving behind glorious achievements. In particular, the Red Army passed through Guanyang three times, and thousands of Red Army martyrs rest in this land. According to surveys and statistics, the martyrs' monument enshrines a total of 1,553 revolutionary martyrs, including 1,406 Red Army martyrs—2 from the Agrarian Revolutionary War period, 6 from the War of Resistance against Japan, 92 from the War of Liberation, and 47 from the socialist construction period. These revolutionary martyrs will always be worthy of our respect and remembrance.
